Writing.

I find I flourish in writing. Scene after scene after scene. But then you tend to lose yourself in it...and you end up finding that things turned out sooo interestingly in your story you just have to let it run its course. Chapter after chapter, scene after scene. Whew.

Art.

Art takes its course, and time. One scene at a time. You revel in the moment. But you can lose interest in the moment too. Look at my gallery and see what I mean.

Real Life.

Thankfully, there is real life to ground you back into reality. Right now, real life for me involves selling this year's corn harvest. 1 bag of hybrid corn planted in between mango trees in a 1/4 hectare area. All threshed and should by now be dried. 60 kilos of freshly threshed corn when dried for 2 days becomes 5 kilos more or less.

Putting writing and art into real life.

Alas, is there a way I can have my art and writing in real life? I mean technically these two are in my real life. But come on, you share them online. And online is something, but not enough. I know of artists (real mature professionals) who have their art in real physical galleries. People come to these galleries, have some finger-food while looking at their art. High-class event right? Sweet! And their audience is real and mature as well.

Well, I'm not like that. My real life consists of...well, something else. Being a fan of MLP:FiM though, at least I can take comfort in what little farming I do. Heck, its not even me myself that does the actual manual labor. I get the list of required agriculture stuff (seeds, chemicals) and I scour the city for the best suppliers.

I wonder how many artists here in dA can have such high-class society type events where people physically go to an actual physical gallery and eat actual finger-food and talk about the art that they are viewing?

And as far as writing stories and real life go, I have my own "story" to live.

I'd love to get back to doing art and writing fics, but real life stuff dampens it.

PS: Found new debit card. Office accountant found it yesterday.

Ah heck, will try to write right now.

I've been doing a lot of art and writing. Even if I don't feel that I've been doing a lot in relation to the time that I have to do such things, apparently I have been doing a lot enough for me to forget more than I should in the real world.

1. Forgot to pay salaries of boarding house employees. That was supposed to be yesterday! Paid them this night.
2. Forgot expiration date of old debit card. Again, yesterday. Failed to do one last transaction. Opportunity ends in a few hours.
3. Forgot where I put my new debit card. At least 3 weeks now, but I only just recently noticed. Its not even out of its envelope yet.
4. Forgot that one of the boarding house employees requested an advance in her salary. Hence I paid her in full today.

Also, I have to coordinate with our attorney about the meeting with the Tagum Judge...which is supposed to be tomorrow, but the month has just started and hence coordination with said judge must be reestablished.

I honestly feel like I have some sort of dementia.

It is the middle of 2014. Mango and corn cropping is NOT promising, though that is yet to be seen.

Hoping to find debit card in office tomorrow. Also, meeting with Judge must be re-scheduled. That meeting was suppose to have happened last Feb 5 for GOODNESS SAKE!

UPDATE (June2, 2014):
Old debit card balance can be transferred to bank account. But it will cost P50. However, if I submit it for exception, I may get approved and no longer have to pay the P50. At this point, I am just trying to have a bit of fun, considering that P50 isn't that big, to try and see if I do get exempted.

It seems though, that new debit card is nowhere to be found. Thus, as self-imposed punishment, I will not have a debit card until the lost new is found or expires after 2 years. Main focus of punishment however is no purchasing of games for 2 years.

This punishment can only be lifted if 1.) New debit card is found or, 2.) 2 years have passed.

Yes, to be hard on one's self. -_-

I hope that this punishment has a good side - which I'd like to be more initiative and drive (motivation, enthusiasm, etc.) to do art and lit.

UPDATE (June3, 2014, morning):

SURPRISE FREAKIN' SURPRISE! Tagum court called attorney's office. Today's scheduled meeting is CANCELLED!

I'm ready already.

No matter. Was writing a fic before going down to attorney's office when it got cancelled, so I'll just continue writing. Ah, Pip and Luna.

Before my time in Equestria, I was in other worlds.

My first fandom was Sonic The Hedgehog (with actual interactions with other fans online). My start in it included chat-rp which I believe is influencing my writing.

After that, I became a fan of other shows. Some of these were
1. Angelina Ballerina (largely thanks to my sister whose ballet skills became that of a professional. She's quit it now though and is taking Tourism in college).
2. Chuggington
3. Animal Mechanicals (one of the characters is a robotic Alicorn. She's tech-based, except for her horn, which is magic-based.)
4. Gaspard and Lisa (my mom loved this so much)
5. Zou.

Disney Jr. Asia stopped airing Angelina Ballerina. I don't know what happened to Animal Mechanicals. They also stopped airing Gaspard and Lisa and Zou.

By the time I was getting into MLP:FiM. Zou stopped airing. But I watched enough of it that I can imagine Zecora being Zou's aunt, the elder sister of Zou's mom. I'd love to make a fanart of that one day. Maybe when I finish my current projects on the works. Chuggington remained but mostly re-runs until they started airing those short episodes about the trainees collecting medals.

But just now I come across Disney Jr. and Chuggington is on. Its not one of those short 10-15  minute episodes where the trainee engines are out to collect their medals. These are actual two back-to-back full 22 minute episodes. And its a new season.

New engines! And new towns! I wonder if Vee (what I'd like to think as Chuggington's central A.I.) expands to these new towns (Tootington) or if there is another A.I. or if there is an A.I. in these towns at all.

The trainees got upgraded! Coco's got boosters?!?!? (Go Coco!). Wilson is an emergency engine of some sort! He's got a communicator and those lights on top of fire engines and ambulances! Wilson is some sort of construction engine. The episodes I saw included one all about Wilson learning how to build a bridge and he got stuck on-top of the construction crane.

I've missed watching these.

Already I have these in my mind, together with the other worlds.

I don't think I have all that it takes to be a brony. But I love cartoons ever since I can remember. I can't really understand why there is discrimination against bronies. I never experienced discrimination aimed at me for watching and enjoying cartoons...AND I'M 35 YEARS OLD! My mom is 59 and she likes Gaspard and Lisa for goodness sake!

Oh well...

UPDATE: I'm finally finishing this fic. Its the first fic in pure word-form I started reading but is the second I will be finishing. I only have its two bonus chapters to complete. Its got so many links to so many awesome soundtracks in youtube, and the comments in these youtube tracks are filled with pony-comments. Amazing!

I love and hate so many things about it. It made my imagination spin so much. I've had artistic-passion burnout thanks to these fics.

Now I am going to be writing three new fics inspired by this one. I hope writing these fics, will help me level up so that when I go back to writing my first two fics, I'd be more experienced as a fic-writer and writer in general.

I just have to get these passions out in story/word form, you know? Think its a bad idea to just play it in my mind again and again and again and again....

One of the fics I am writing is a fic of this fic. What do you call a fic of a fic? Does that make sense?

I'm glad that fics are not canon though. Fun as they may be, a lot of fics including mine are just...inappropriate to the original spirit of the franchise.
