I got stuck with the hair and frankly, I've been trying to figure out how to treat that large black area in the hair. Am tired

I believe my brain is up to the task of rendering this pic again.

Thanks you all your comments, I have realized a major off-model flaw I committed:

Pinky Pick's hair is not cut horizontally straight at the bottom; it is kinda spiky down below. That is why the zigzaggyness of the highlights were kinda off, as well as the hair looking a tad-bit lopsided.

When I looked at all the pics of Pinky Pick in the GS books I have, as well as [link] by , I can't believe I didn't realize this during the pencil sketching stage.

Will be re-editing hair soon.
